We had a great time at the 1st Annual Clearwater Film Festival on Clearwater Beach. We had a successful panel of film professionals that answered everyone's questions. I was particularly impressed with the amount of people interested in how music is placed in film/tv! It's great to see such enthusiasm for the arts. We are glad we were a part of it for their first year.

"I was approached by the great Jason Zerbin, who needed a drummer and spotted me. He apparently liked my chops. Traveling with him now is a story in and of itself. The thing I appreciate most about the band is just the overall musicianship. It’s great when you sit down with other people who are good at their instruments and can just feel things out. We play after our shows, even when people are gone and out of the building, just because something feels good or if our bass player has a good riff. I love that about our band. It feels fresh every time we play, which is a huge reason why one of my greatest influences of all time is the Dave Matthews Band.

In September, one of our songs (“In Your Arms”) is being featured in a movie released through Universal called Teenage Dirtbag. We also had a music video that is going to be featured on the DVD. Currently I’m playing a Pearl Vision kit with Zildjian K Custom cymbals, but as of a few weeks ago I have signed with Shine Drums! So I’m having a custom kit made for me soon, which I’m very excited about."

Our Friend - Greg Harrington

Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for our dear friend Greg Harrington. On August 1, 2009 Greg tragically passed away. It has been very difficult dealing with the loss of such a talented, kind-hearted, compassionate person. He will be missed dearly, each and every day. Everytime I hear the music that he held so dear to his heart, it reminds me of all the great times...and the future.

We are so proud to have known you and been a part of your music career. Proud cannot even begin to describe the feelings that we have for him...we are more than proud..we are fortunate to have known you and left with joy.

Snippet- My name is Brandt Frenchman, and I’ve been a drummer for most of my life. My parents started me with lessons at the age of five, after I showed an aptitude for beating on pots and pans. I love all types and styles of music, although I’ve always gravitated toward the heavier rock side of things. I grew up in a family surrounded by music. My brother Shep is a great self-taught drummer. My father can just about play everything and played in a few bands, and my mother played piano and flute. I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, home of the Fighting Gators, and yes, I bleed orange and blue. In high school I discovered some of the rewards of playing in a rock ’n’ roll band—good times and bad girls!
